For the longest time, I have a strong knowing that my 11-year old daughter is more than a daughter to me. She is my soul mate, an angel who has chosen to disguise herself as a human so that she can be one of my closest teachers and mirrors on earth.

Many a time she brought powerful lessons, insights and healings through her innocent childlike ways. If I had not been vigilant enough, I would have missed the messages she was trying to deliver on behalf of Spirit. She too brought many blessings to me, often manifested as unexpected abundance, simple because she is such a pure and evolved soul.

She did her wonders again on last Sunday.

Fiddling with the music playlist in her mobile phone, she offered to play one of my favourite Chinese pop songs called ‘Fairy Tale’ (Tong Hua). As I listened to the familiar tune, a particular line moved me like it never did before – “I wish to transform myself into an angel, like in the fairy tales, so I can always be by your side to protect you”. It touched me so deeply when I recognized it was actually a live message from my angelic guides, assuring me of their constant presence in my life , as my companion and support on this path of remembrance, realisation and becoming the  I Am that I Am. They whispered gently into my heart, ‘do not give up on humanity at this crucial moment; you know you are here for the reason of Becoming the Light, that’s your service to mankind’.

Let’s talk about money.

I felt inspired to post these thoughts after my reading session a client two days ago.  She has asked about the chances of her winning lottery tickets this year. Instead of addressing her question directly, her guides expounded on seeing money as a flow of abundant energy and positive feelings; if receiving a windfall is going to bring my client much joy (she intends to use the winnings for financing her spiritual pursuits), she should first give joy to the world.  What goes around, comes around.  The universe would then respond by returning joy and other forms of abundance to her. Practice makes perfect. As we get better with perceiving money as an expression of a flow of healthy energy, we train our mind to be less attached with the output per se (which is money itself) but focus more on ensuring a constant flow of positive energy and feelings in and out of our life. Feelings is the language of the soul. When our reality is filled with uplifting feelings, we are communicating to the universe we feel and are abundant.  Through the universal law of attraction, money and other forms of abundance will surely knock on our door.

After our session, feeling more hopeful, my client went off to get a couple of lottery tickets that day. By evening, she texted to say her numbers didn’t strike but she feels pretty sure her opportunities for winning in the future have increased. To me, that statement, in itself, was an evidence of a newly acquired abundance!

Even though the 2010 Valentine’s Day is over, I feel like talking about love on this beautiful sunday morning.

During a healing session 2 days ago, “C” commented she doesn’t actually know how love feels like. Whenever someone asks her to fill her heart with the feeling of love (presumably during meditations and energy healing sessions), she has problems following that instruction. To her, love is a huge and vague ‘thing’. 

Hearing that, her spirit guide suggested replacing love with positive feelings which are more recognizable to her, something she has experienced before. “C” then identified joy, a sense of being carefree, gratitude and deep appreciation as attributes of love, and true enough, it seemed much easier for her to bring up these feelings than love itself. In case you are wondering, this useful tip was offered by Isis, symbolic of the cosmic mother.

“L” has recently ended a difficult relationship with his ex-girlfriend. After learning the karmic and other reasons behind the extremely challenging times they had together even though they were in love (at least they thought so), “L” was ready to move on. He asked his spirit guide, “how can prepare myself to attract a new and loving relationship?”. Almost immediately, the response from Lady Kuan Yin was “fall in love with yourself first”.

She then gave specific instructions for “L” to identify and write down a minimum of 3 positive qualities or attributes of himself each day for 30 days, and each statement has to start with the expression ’I am…’ or ‘I have…’. It is also critical for “L” to believe in and feel the words he use to describe himself.

The science behind this exercise is to develop or strengthen the neurons in the nervous system to believe and remember that we are perfect and in fact so perfect that we can’t help falling in love with ourselves. When such a belief is strongly ingrained in our mind, we naturally exude an aura of self-love. Not only do we becoming truly more self-loving in our thinking, feeling and behavior, we cause others who feel the same about themselves to be attracted to us. Like attracts like. This is the foundation and pre-requisite of building a loving relationship between two people – we can’t really give or receive love properly unless we know our heart is already completely filled with love - love for ourselves as  an extension of Spirit.  Like a chalice overflowing with golden energy, we could then offer love to others unconditionally. Hmm...to fall in love with myself again...such a romantic idea!

 4th March and 6th March haven't been jotted down yet as I didn't have the time to do that.
